Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist

Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii.

• Lead programs staffed by civilian and military personnel.
• Establish technical and policy goals, set objectives to maintain and improve the Facilities Inspection Program at the PWDs.
• Oversee the multi‑year effort for accurate and timely collection of inspection data in the field.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of metrics of the in‑house facilities sustainment program; explain metrics and implications to Operations and PWD leadership.

• Minimum one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS‑12 or pay band, or comparable private/public sector experience.
• Knowledge and experience in industry practices related to inspection certification programs, skilled trades, and/or other technical fields (e.g., repair/maintenance of facility systems including elevators, escalators, HVAC, fire alarm systems, etc.).
• Experience with specialized inspection code compliance, references, instructions, and other policies.

The position requires compliance with Department of Defense security clearance, travel, drug testing, and financial disclosure filing requirements. Relocation expense reimbursement and recruitment incentives may be available per funding availability and policy.
