POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Project Planning – Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and tasks; facilitate regular meetings to track progress and address any issues.
- Budget Management – Monitor project budgets, prepare financial reports, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Resource Allocation – Oversee the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
- Risk Management – Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
- Contract Management – Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Quality Assurance – Ensure that project deliverables meet the established industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
- Documentation – Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes, to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Compliance – Ensure all activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Post-Construction Review – Conduct a final review of the project, addressing any deficiencies, finalizing documentation, and facilitating project handover to client.
- Continuous Improvement – Evaluate project outcomes and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in future projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a construction Project Manager or related field
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, P6)
