Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract. The PM ensures oversight of all work requirements to provide professional and quality services to the Customer in accordance with PWS requirements, while maintaining safety as the highest priority. The PM will act for the Company on all contract matters and be the central point of contact with the Government for the performance of all work under this contract.
The PM is available within 1 hour to meet on site with Government personnel as required.
- Oversee port operations, facilities support, utility management, electrical, transportation, and other areas designated within the PWS / SOW.
- Sponsor scheduling of personnel, work supervision, quality control, equipment maintenance and repair, and other duties assigned by program leadership to meet PWS and company requirements and standards.
- Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs.
- Recommend, develop, implement, and enforce procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations.
- Act as the designated point of contact for oversight and subcontractor management.
- Five years of experience managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous supervisory experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multinational workforce.
- Valid U.S. or local driver’s license and U.S. passport.
- Active Secret U.S. Government Clearance; U.S. citizenship required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass U.S. INDOPACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
- Country visa as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration / Management, based on a four‑year course of study from a U.S. or U.K. accredited college or university or equivalent institution.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.
- Relevant overseas experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple tasks with changing priorities and schedules.
- Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.
This position is located in a remote environment with potentially challenging working and living conditions. Employees may be regularly exposed to tropical island environments with high humidity, heavy rainfall, and intense heat. Temperatures can range from 80-90°F (27-32°C) with extremely high humidity levels year‑round. Work schedules typically consist of a minimum of 6 days per week and 12 hours per day, with physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, climbing, crawling, and extended outdoor work.
Compensationand Benefits
Compensation range: $200,000. The actual rate may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, and market data.
