Job Title
Lifting and Handling Program Administrative and Technical Advisor
Job DutiesYou will serve as the Lifting and Handling Program administrative and technical advisor to the Shipyard Commander.
You will oversee material distribution and personnel movement throughout the waterfront to support Lifting and Handling operations.
You will act as the Certifying Official for all Navy-owned and leased Weight Handling Equipment (WHE).
You will represent the shipyard at meetings and conferences, assisting in the development of lifting and handling policies and objectives.
You will oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of equipment and initiate corrective action as necessary.
