JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Maintenance and Construction provides strategic leadership and overall accountability for Aloha Petroleum's Facilities Maintenance and Construction departments. This position is responsible for ensuring all company facilities, fueling systems, convenience stores, food service equipment, infrastructure, and capital construction projects are maintained, upgraded, and developed in a safe, reliable, timely, and cost-effective manner. The Senior Manager leads the Facilities Maintenance team, Construction team, internal technical staff, and external contractors to support operational excellence and business growth.
This role oversees company-wide maintenance programs, capital project execution, engineering and design standards, regulatory compliance, asset lifecycle management, safety initiatives, vendor performance, and departmental financial performance. The Senior Manager develops and executes long-term strategies that maximize asset reliability, improve customer experience, support revenue generation, and maintain Aloha Petroleum's competitive advantage.
The results achieved by this position shall establish and maintain a best-in-class Technical Services organization that delivers industry-leading maintenance reliability, construction execution, operational support, safety performance, and stewardship of company assets.
This role has a current pay range of $122,000 - $148,000. The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment.

Strategic LeadershipProvide overall leadership and direction for the Facilities Maintenance and Construction departments.Develop and implement departmental strategies, goals, budgets, performance standards, and key performance indicators.Align technical services activities with corporate objectives, operational priorities, and growth initiatives.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, teamwork, and customer-centric service.Develop succession plans and talent development programs for technical services personnel.Facilities Maintenance Management
Oversee timely and cost-effective repair and maintenance of fueling equipment, UST tank-top systems, HVAC systems, food service equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, roofing, signage, canopies, and parking lots.Optimize Work Order dispatching to promote efficiency and minimize travel time and resulting costs.Direct warehouse and technician truck stock inventory to ensure frequently used parts are readily available, while also adhering to prudent working capital costs.Establish preventive maintenance programs designed to maximize equipment reliability and asset life.Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), work order performance, response times, and maintenance quality standards.Provide emergency response services that include not only responding to the matter, but also providing communication and coordination with local emergency officials as needed.Manage technician training, certifications, safety programs, and operational effectiveness.Provide oversight of technician timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate labor reporting, payroll readiness, and adherence to company standards.Construction and Capital
Project ManagementDirect all company construction, remodeling, rebranding, equipment replacement, and site redevelopment projects.Oversee project planning, budgeting, design development, scheduling, procurement, permitting, construction management, and project closeout activities.Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.Lead value-engineering initiatives that improve project economics while maintaining quality and safety standards.Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and governmental agencies.Support company growth through evaluation and execution of redevelopment and expansion opportunities.Financial Management
