Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a top ship repair company in Hawaii, operating two of the state’s largest dry docks and serving both DoD and commercial clients. With a skilled crafts workforce supported by engineering, project management, QA, EHS, accounting, contracts, and HR, the company values teamwork, commitment, integrity, and loyalty. This is a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact mission‑critical ship repair projects.
What You’ll DoPrepare comprehensive cost estimates and technical proposals for ship repair projects.
Read and interpret detailed drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
Participate in collaborative estimating processes and bid reviews.
Attend ship inspections and support business development efforts.
Work closely with all departments to determine material and manpower requirements.
Contribute as a team player in a fast‑paced, on-site work environment.
3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in marine or industrial industries.
Shipyard experience preferred; knowledge of Navy ships and prior military experience a plus.
High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree highly recommended.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
U.S. citizen with legal right to work in the U.S.
Able to obtain TWIC and DBIDS credentials.
Pass post‑offer drug screening and background check.
Valid Hawaii REAL ‑compliant driver’s license (or U.S. Passport + Hawaii license).
