Mastercam & Solid Works CNC Master Machinist – Advanced Multi‑Axis Machining
Honolulu, HI – Salary: $135,000–$150,000 DOE + Full Relocation Package.
We are seeking a true CNC Professional – elite CNC programmers and machinists who live and breathe Mastercam and Solid Works and thrive on complex multi‑axis work.
Position OverviewThis is a high‑end, hands‑on role for someone who can dominate:
- Dual‑spindle lathes with live tooling, Y‑axis, and bar feeder
- 3 & 4‑axis milling with full 3D programming + probing
- True 5‑axis work (Unified toolpaths, Blade, Flow) + probing
- Fixture design & production
- Advanced Vericut simulation & verification
- Create highly efficient Mastercam programs for complex mill‑turn and 5‑axis operations
- Design and model fixtures, parts, and work holding in Solid Works
- Program, setup, and optimize dual‑spindle/live tooling lathes
- Execute advanced 5‑axis strategies including Unified, Blade, and Flow toolpaths
- Develop, run, and refine comprehensive Vericut simulations — including full machine model verification, collision detection, gouge checking, dynamic material removal, toolpath optimization, and cycle time analysis for both 5‑axis mills and complex mill‑turn operations
- Use Vericut to validate probe routines, sub‑spindle transfers, and multi‑axis synchronization before any code hits the shop floor
- Develop complete processes from drawing to finished high‑precision part
- Troubleshoot and refine programs for exotic alloys and tight tolerances
- Mastercam expert (must be strong – this is your primary tool)
- Solid Works proficiency (modeling & fixturing)
- Deep experience with 5‑axis (especially Unified/Blade/Flow)
- Dual‑spindle lathe + Y‑axis/live tooling background
- Strong Vericut experience required – you should be comfortable building and maintaining machine models, creating custom control files, simulating complex multi‑axis setups with live tooling, and using Vericut’s optimization tools to reduce cycle times while maintaining safety and accuracy
- Proven track record machining Inconel, titanium, and stainless
- Self‑driven problem solver who delivers first‑part success every time
- Eligible to pass an FBI/DoD background check
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Veteran status strongly desired
- Salary Range: $135,000–$150,000 per year
- Full relocation package to Honolulu, Hawaii
- Generous monthly Cost of Living and Housing stipend.
- Excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)
- Work on challenging, high‑precision projects in a beautiful location
If you’re a Mastercam/Solid Works master who treats Vericut as a critical safety and efficiency tool, we want to talk to you.
