We are looking for an applicant to join our production team as a Cellarman. At Hana Koa Brewing we value a continued thirst for knowledge with a constant drive to improve processes. The ideal applicant should possess a strong interest in brewing and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties- Responsible for washing kegs, ensuring that each vessel is properly cleaned, sanitized, purged and pressurized with CO2 via an automated Premier Stainlesss Keg Washer Unit.
- Responsible for keg filling processes. This includes assembling, cleaning, sanitizing, operating, disassembling, and cleaning the racking mechanism used for such process. Kegs will be palletized and transported via pallet jack.
- Responsible for organizing distribution coldbox.
- Responsible for managing fermentation through logging of data and actions to be taken.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Responsible for handling hazardous chemicals with proper protective equipment.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EducationThis position requires a high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate). A post-secondary certificate (awarded for training completed after high school) is preferred.
