Dialysis Biomedical Technician

As a Dialysis Biomedical Technician at U.S. Renal Care, you support safe, reliable kidney care by installing, calibrating, and maintaining dialysis machines and water treatment systems in a chronic in-center setting. You perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime and protect patient safety. You document work in compliance with regulatory standards, assist with equipment upgrades, manage parts and supplies, and collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and clinical staff in a compassionate, patient-first environment that values learning and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain dialysis machines and related biomedical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment and water treatment systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Document maintenance, repairs, and inspections per regulatory and company standards
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and manufacturer guidelines for equipment use
• Monitor water quality and system performance, addressing issues promptly
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate vendor service when needed
• Support clinical staff during equipment issues to protect patient safety
• Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and leadership to maintain a safe dialysis environment
