By disassembling structures by hand, Re-use Hawai‘i recovers reusable building materials that are redistributed to the community through its Redistribution Centers.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Honolulu, HI for a Communications & Marketing Manager. The role involves crafting and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and services. Responsibilities include overseeing marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, creating content, coordinating public relations efforts, and maintaining relationships with community partners. The manager will ensure consistent branding and messaging to engage with stakeholders and the broader community effectively.

• Proficiency in Communications, Public Relations, and Strategic Planning.
• Experience in Digital Marketing, Content Creation, and Social Media Management.
• Strong skills in Marketing Campaigns, Branding, and Community Engagement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on storytelling and outreach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, event planning experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability and commitment to Re-use Hawai‘i's mission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
• $42,000 annual salary
