Communications Manager

Primary Purpose of Job

Develop, implement and oversee internal and external communication strategies to promote ASB's brand and reputation.

• Create, implement and monitor internal and external communication plans that align with ASB’s vision, mission and culture.
• Develop high-quality content and materials for various communication channels and audiences, including employee communications, multimedia projects, website copy, press releases and social media.
• Work cross‑functionally to align communication efforts with business objectives, ensuring consistency and brand alignment across all channels.
• Partner with Human Resources and Organizational Development teams to elevate teammate experience through effective communication initiatives tied to teammate feedback and engagement priorities.
• Organize and execute events and activities that support ASB’s goals and enhance employee engagement and collaboration.
• Establish and track key communications KPIs to evaluate effectiveness, optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI across channels and campaigns.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Internal and External Communications or Public Relations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing.
• Knowledge of brand management, media relations and community relations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) suite.
• Strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with social media strategy, content planning and digital engagement metrics.
• Resourceful, self‑starter with critical thinking skills.
• Graphic design and digital media experience are a plus.
