Social Media Content Creator​/Digital Marketing

The Social Media Content Creator reports to the VP, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer and the Director, Digital Marketing. The role is responsible for innovating and improving digital channels and products to deliver content to patients, families, consumers and clinicians through multiple platforms, with a primary focus on video storytelling. The creator captures real‑time moments, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, and drives digital engagement to enhance CHLA’s online presence.

• Create compelling written content, graphics, photos and videos using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Develop and maintain storytelling content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other relevant channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical, research and public relations teams to ensure all content aligns with brand voice and key messages.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to refine strategy and increase engagement.
• Produce video content that captures the essence of CHLA’s mission and resonates emotionally with audiences.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media and content creation.
• Proficiency in creating written, graphic, photo and video content.
• Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in digital design, business, marketing, engineering, computer science or related field.
• Preferred:
  Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health or Product Development.

CHLA values each team member’s contributions. The final starting pay will vary based on education, experience and other factors. The listed pay scale reflects candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements. Additional compensation may be offered to candidates who exceed these qualifications.
