The Sr. Solution Marketing Manager – Cybersecurity drives the positioning and go-to-market activation of SHI’s cybersecurity portfolio, translating complex technical capabilities into compelling customer outcomes, differentiated narratives, and sales-ready solutions that accelerate pipeline growth and revenue.
They partner with business leaders, technical experts, sales, and cross-functional marketing teams to develop solution offerings, shape market-facing messaging, activate launches, and use customer insights to keep SHI's cybersecurity portfolio relevant, competitive, and aligned to buyer needs.
Role DescriptionGo-to-Market Leadership:
- Translate executive business goals (pipeline, growth, churn reduction) into performance-focused GTM plans
- Develop marketing strategies that address both business decision makers and technical audiences, including analysts, architects, CIOs, CTOs and CISOs.
- Partner withthe cybersecurity practice to understand product strategy and roadmaps, distill key differentiation and value into core product positioning and messaging.
- Partner closely with sales and enablement teams.
- RoadmapSHIproduct and services priorities across launches, new releases, content, campaigns, events, and sales initiatives.
Positioning and Messaging:
- Define clear, customer-friendly solution narratives and positioning.
- Differentiate SHI in the market byclearly defining ourunique value proposition, connecting products and services into a unified customer story.
- Create targeted solution playbookswithpersona‑specific content (CISO, CIO, etc.)to target SHI customers and prospects.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to keep a pulse on the landscape and help different teams (e.g. Product, GTM) act on emerging trends, market shifts, industry news/events, competitive threats, and unmet customer needs
- Translate marketinsightsand analyst information into actionable recommendations.
- Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development, solution packaging and marketing strategies.
Sales Enablement, Product Launches and Adoption:
- Work with creative teams to craft high-impact marketing and sales assets: messaging frameworks,ROI stories,sales sheets, andbattlecards.
- Equippre-sales and non-technical teamswith messaging, use cases,and playbooks, so they can confidently position SHIsolutionsand outcomes.
- Support advocacy programswithcase studies and customer success story development.
Content and Demand Generation:
- Pipeline Ownership:
Help achieve demand generation goals by creating and executing campaigns thatdrive qualified marketing leads into the pipeline. - Partner with content and editorial teams to develop a wide range of compelling content that resonates with the IT and procurement buyers and guides them through the purchase journey including blogs,reports, etc.
Thought Leadership and Analyst Relations:
- Supportcybersecuritythought leadership programs by supporting owned and earned media initiatives.
- Support analyst relations,enhancingSHI’scybersecurityposition in the market.
Performance Metrics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and continuously optimize strategies based on data and feedback.
