Associate Manager, Global Media

• Oversee global media plans for all regions for Mattel’s brands, working closely with the Director of Global Media and cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with regional marketing and media teams to consolidate input, develop paid media strategies, and execute global media frameworks that leverage global scale while enabling local excellence.
• Provide strategic oversight of corporate goals including learning agendas, performance reporting, creative and media integration, and agency management.
• Contribute to global media updates for internal stakeholders such as regional teams, global brand marketing, finance, and senior management.
• Support the global media process by aligning media frameworks with strategy, brand objectives, and local needs.
• Partner with global brand teams to enhance media strategies and briefs used to brief local media agencies.
• Monitor global paid media thresholds in partnership with regional media and marketing teams.
• Develop global platform strategies for media and creative across digital video, social, and display.
• Collaborate with finance on the global media budgeting process.
• Work with cross‑functional marketing, media, and communications teams to build integrated marketing communication plans.
• Contribute to bi‑annual global media reviews and provide updates on media innovation and cross‑regional opportunities.
• Partner with Business Insights and Marketing teams to identify test‑and‑learn opportunities.
• Contribute to media measurement and performance updates, consolidating in‑market asset performance insights for creative and communications teams.

• 5+ years of experience in media planning and communications planning, with preference for international media experience.
• Strong digital media background, with experience in kids media preferred.
• Experience working with a complex multi‑brand portfolio in a fast‑paced, dynamic category.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to use data to inform media planning and execution.
• Ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear strategies and present work to senior management.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work with multiple internal and external groups.
• Team player mentality.
• Flexible and able to pivot in real‑time in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and with strong follow‑through.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $88,000 and $133,000. This range is indicative of projected hiring range; the final salary will be determined based on location, skills, and experience.
