Strategic Digital Performance
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who is a strategist, performance analyst, and cultural navigator. You understand how to build engagement and grow brand presence across platforms, while aligning social media efforts with broader digital advertising, website performance, and business goals.
If you have a background in Native Hawaiian issues, construction, education, energy, finance, land management, healthcare, or government, you’ll find purpose and opportunity in our work. You will report to our Senior Vice President of Public Relations and Communications and collaborate with our marketing, data and creative teams.

- Collaborate with the advertising and website teams to coordinate timing, messaging, and performance insights.
- Produce or oversee production of high-quality content (visual and written), leveraging trends and analytics.
- Monitor and report on KPIs; optimize based on data and audience behavior.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client teams on how social can support broader business and marketing objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Formal Education and
Work Experience:
- Experience in paid social media and boosting campaigns
- Skills in social listening, community management, or reputation response
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
- Experience in paid social media and boosting campaigns
- 10 years of progressive work experience in marketing, communications and public relations
- Work experience in an agency desirable
- A record of increasingly greater career responsibility and accomplishment
Technical
Skills:
- Detailed command of written English, word choice, tone, grammar, punctuation, spelling
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In - Use of project management systems such Asana and Workamajig
