Position: Marketing and Communications Lead

Location: Honolulu, HI (Downtown Honolulu)

Pay: $50,000-$65,000/year

Experience: 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area (insurance sector experience preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Education: High school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred

Type: Temp-to-Hire; direct hire also considered for strong candidates

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On-site in Downtown Honolulu. Occasional evening, weekend, and neighbor island travel may be required for events. Hybrid option (one day/week remote) possible after management approval.

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Marketing and Communications Lead to join our 'ohana in a professional healthcare management environment!

Job Description:

Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, TV, and events

Create content, including advertisements, press releases, eblasts, flyers, mailers, and social media posts

Coordinate website content management and development

Track and report on marketing KPIs, including SEO, competitor analysis, and market trends

Prepare and manage budgets for marketing efforts

Lead brand development, including company-branded materials, presentations, and promotional items

Coordinate events such as trade shows, community walks, golf tournaments, and sponsor ships

Manage vendor relationships

Serve as a professional marketing ambassador for the company at events on Oahu and neighboring islands

Position Requirements:

Hard skills:
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; intermediate proficiency in publishing/design software (Canva, Word Press, Photoshop preferred); basic proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategy; basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher; valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and no-fault auto insurance required; ability to travel by plane to neighbor islands; ability to lift 20 lbs and transport materials

Soft skills:

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail; strong public-speaking and presentation skills; results-oriented and strategic thinker; highly organized with strong multi-priority/deadline management; collaborative leader comfortable working cross-departmentally; quick learner, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
