Workforce Development Internship Capacity Project

To strengthen workforce development opportunities in Hawaii by building sustainable internship systems that support both interns and supervisors/mentors, enhance professional development, and increase organizational capacity to prepare individuals for long-term career success. Member Duties :
This position works collaboratively with HIPHI staff, government agencies, academic institutions, community-based organizations, and non-profit partners to design, implement, and continuously improve internship and training initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing internship infrastructure tools for staff use(intern onboarding toolkit, roles, descriptions, supervision guides, templates, and documentation); create evaluation system for staff implementation (intern feedback tools, tracking dashboards, outcome measures, and data collection procedures);

create supervisor/mentor training materials and protocols (training modules, guides, coaching templates) for staff to implement.
