Remote work is not available for this position; on‑site attendance is required.
- Manage and administer delivery of American Red Cross services to U.S. military members, veterans, and families, following Red Cross policies and procedures.
- Support delivery of International Services programs and services.
- Provide support, development, and leadership guidance to volunteers.
- Serve as the face of the Red Cross at the assigned location, building relationships with military leadership, key organizations, and community leaders.
- Build community presence through marketing, social media, and base advertising.
- Develop and implement local needs assessment and Volunteer Program Plan.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, including leadership volunteers for SAF/IS U.S. programs.
- Utilize Volunteer Connection Platform to manage, document, train, recognize, and communicate with volunteers.
- Supervise volunteer Service Delivery staff.
- Coordinate services to military treatment facilities and VA hospitals with rehabilitation programs, material assistance, resiliency training and morale items.
- Ensure community outreach and special events supporting SAF/IS U.S. initiatives.
- Manage support services to military members and families, follow‑up and referrals.
- Provide support for the emergency communications center.
- Develop outreach strategies promoting International Services U.S. programs.
- Develop, manage budgets, monitor and report outcomes, ensure metrics are met.
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, human resources, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in program management or related field.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Excellent public speaking, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work individually or in team.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain secret security clearance and no‑fee U.S. passport.
- May require ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations, stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs.
- May include sitting, driving, and working under challenging conditions.
- May travel and attend meetings throughout jurisdiction and system.
- Possible 24‑hour call during major disaster events.
- Mobile staff must maintain medical and security requirements, participate in readiness training and deployment familiarization.
- Conscious of potential use of military uniforms and living in harsh, stressful environments.

HI: $66,220 - $88,330 Total Base Pay Range.
Mobile PositionThis position is mobile; worldwide deployment is a condition of employment. Staff must be ready to deploy on short‑term assignments, serve alongside military members, and meet medical and security readiness requirements.
