Grant Specialist Bishop & Company is seeking a Grant Support Specialist to support the grants process of a non‑profit organization in Honolulu by reviewing, processing, and tracking nonprofit applications for funding eligibility. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, and effective communication with applicants and internal teams throughout the grant cycle. Responsibilities- Review and process nonprofit grant applications for eligibility and completeness
- Verify essential applicant information using established criteria
- Enter and maintain accurate data and records for all submissions
- Follow up with applicants to obtain missing or clarifying information as needed
- Collaborate across departments to track payments and subaward information
- Collect and verify data related to payment and reporting processes
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to subgrantees when needed
- Communicate with applicants and stakeholders via email and phone to ensure timely updates
- Support the Grants Manager with administrative and process‑related tasks
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and maintain valid driver’s insurance
- Experience working with diverse organizations and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with grant management systems and community impact program implementation
- Basic understanding of nonprofit operations and funding processes

- Duration: 3- month temporary opportunity with possible extension
- Pay: $24/hr
