Job PurposeThe Program Coordinator I - Entrepreneurship is a youth development practitioner responsible for implementing culturally competent and trauma-informed youth programming, supporting daily operations, and building consistent relationships with youth and their ʻohana. This role focuses on ensuring that the logistical and administrative functions necessary for the entrepreneurship program success run smoothly, maintaining safe and engaging environments, and collaborating with YES workers and the broader program team to ensure youth access and participation.
The Coordinator I brings both direct engagement and operational skills to the role, facilitating activities, coordinating schedules and logistics, maintaining accurate data and documentation, and contributing to ongoing entrepreneurshipprogram quality. This role is integral to the day-to-day functioning of program sites and to the holistic wraparound supports provided to youth and their families throughout Liliʻuokalani Trust programs.

Youth Engagement & Community Building- Build and maintain respectful, positive relationships with youth, families, and community members
- Facilitate group activities, mentor youth, and employ positive youth development practices in all interactions
- Model appropriate behavior, healthy relationships, and effective communication
- Support youth by responding to behavioral escalations appropriately and respectfully, and by providing appropriate follow-up as determined by program teams
- Encourage participation and foster a strong sense of belonging among program participants
- Support the inclusion of youth voice in program development and decisions, as appropriate
- Assist, as needed, with welcoming participants and families to program spaces
- Engage in outreach efforts to recruit new program participants and raise awareness of LT programs and services
- Implement scheduled entrepreneurship programs, activities, and events across locations in alignment with established program plans
- Coordinate program logistics including space usage, supplies, equipment, and activity preparation
- Collaborate with YES workers to ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and coverage across program spaces
- Support program transitions and participation logistics, including signing participants in and out and assisting with movement throughout spaces
- Maintain safe and welcoming environments across all sites, following established safety protocols and supervision ratios
- As needed and appropriate, assist with or coordinate participant transportation
- Contribute to program design discussions and offer feedback to improve program delivery
- Support enrollment, attendance tracking, and communication with youth and families
- Complete accurate and timely data entry, including registration and consent forms, Docu Sign, attendance records, and program activity logs
- Maintain documentation requirements in alignment with organizational standards, including Net Suite, mileage logs, and other operational systems
- Provide front desk and phone coverage, and support program operations as needed
- Assist with scheduling coordination, including maintaining program calendars and confirming facility or vendor appointments
- Serve as the primary program-level contact for evaluation logistics, ensuring evaluations are completed on time and accurately
