  • Develop and maintain an annual development and communications calendar, including fundraising appeals, donor stewardship, newsletters, social media, events, and other stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain donor and development information in the Trust’s donor management system, ensuring accurate and timely donor, gift, campaign, and stakeholder records.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports on fundraising results, donor activity, campaigns, and engagement; maintain donor lists and segmentation for appeals and communications.
  • Coordinate donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgments, thank-you communications, impact updates, donor recognition, and responses to donor inquiries.
  • Support executive leadership with donor cultivation and fundraising activities by preparing donor information, correspondence, presentations, and other materials and coordinating appropriate follow-up.
  • Manage the development and distribution of the Trust’s newsletter and other stakeholder communications, including gathering content, drafting and editing stories, and coordinating contributions from across the Trust and its programs.
  • Manage the Trust’s social media accounts, including developing, scheduling, and posting engaging content highlighting programs, services, events, partnerships, donor and volunteer support, and organizational impact.
  • Gather stories, photographs, program updates, outcomes, and other content from across the organization and create basic graphics and digital materials for fundraising, social media, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate fundraising, donor, and community events, including planning, communications, materials, volunteers, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Independently manage routine development and communications projects, keeping executive leadership informed of progress, upcoming priorities, challenges, and matters requiring executive input or approval.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with donors, volunteers, staff, community partners, vendors, and other stakeholders, and represent the Trust professionally at donor and community activities.
