We're looking for Dialysis RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Honolulu, HI. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities- Prime dialyzer and bloodlines.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Prepare dialysis equipment.
- Oversee dialysis treatment.
- Cannulate accesses.
- Clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters.
- Identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify appropriate medical team members.
- Teach patient and significant others how to manage illness.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
- Lift up to 20 pounds easily; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while moving or lifting patients.
- Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
