Job Details:

• Work in a 19-bed all-private-room Medical Intensive Care Unit with 4 isolation rooms

• Provide critical care for adults and adolescents over 12 years old

• Care for patients with conditions including post Code Blue, respiratory failure, GI bleeding, diabetic emergencies, acute renal failure, sepsis/multi-system organ failure, and overdoses

• Manage transplant-ready patients, pulmonary artery hypertension, and high-dose Interleukin-2 therapy patients

• Float to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units based on facility needs

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred

• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required

• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

• CPI (or equivalent) certification preferred

• Specialty certifications highly desired (CCRN)

• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation

• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center required

• CRRT experience highly desired

• All compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date

• Requested Time Off (RTO) not permitted during initial contract period
