Payment: $32/hour

• Full‑time (4 days a week ok) day shift (0600‑1430) and/or evening (1400‑2230) shift, with weekend availability

• Coordinate scheduling medical appointments for out‑of‑facility consultants, working closely with security and medical staff.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications to patients.

• Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Valid and current LPN license issued by the state of HI.
• Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
• Proficiency in the English language necessary for communication with staff and patients, verbal and written.
• First‑time Licensed Practical Nurse must have 6 months of recent (within the last 3 years) nursing experience gained within a hospital or similar acute‑care setting.
• Correctional experience is preferred but open to review candidates that don’t have correctional experience.
