About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role requires flexibility to float between ICU, PCU, and Med/Surg units as needed while supporting high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ICU, PCU, and Med/Surg patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered.
- Support patient care needs across multiple acuity levels.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
- Float between assigned units based on staffing and patient care needs.
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required prior to start.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience required.
- ICU, PCU, and/or Med/Surg experience required.
- BLS/BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS, NRP, and other specialty certifications preferred if applicable.
- Cerner experience preferred.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts and consecutive weekends if needed.
- Holiday coverage required.
