Kimura Home Health LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong leadership skills and home health experience who is passionate about supporting clinical excellence and ensuring high-quality patient care.
As a Clinical SupervisorYou’ll oversee and guide clinical staff, support care coordination, review documentation, and help maintain compliance with Medicare home health regulations while working closely with our Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, therapists, and home health aides.
- Provide clinical guidance and ensure quality care delivery.
- Conduct supervisory visits and competency evaluations.
- Assist with staff orientation, training, and ongoing support.
- Review patient assessments and plans of care.
- Ensure services are provided according to physician orders.
- Assist with complex or high-risk patient cases.
- Provide direct patient care when needed.
- Review OASIS documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure charting supports medical necessity and skilled need.
- Monitor compliance with Medicare and agency standards.
- Collaborate with QA staff on audits and improvements.
- Participate in QAPI and performance improvement initiatives.
- Help identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Support staffing coordination and continuity of care.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Current Hawaii RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience required.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor clinical staff.
- Minimum 1 year of ambulatory experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable insured vehicle.
- Ability to travel to patient homes and perform supervisory visits.
