Summary Hawai'i Pacific Health Emergency Room Training Opportunity is designed for experienced Registered Nurses who wish to transition to the ER specialty or for new graduate nurses seeking to become ER nurses. The program supports nurses through the transition from student to independent practitioner.
Program Details The training program lasts 20 weeks and requires a two‑year work commitment upon successful completion. No paid time off is allowed during the program. Participants must be available for rotation to night shifts and any shift length (4, 8, 10 or 12 hours).

Compensation Pay range: $49.62 – $71.91 per hour; category:

- Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
