Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) I & II

• Level I – $4,726 per month (HE-06)
• Level II – $5,106 per month (HE-08)

• Provides a variety of personal and practical nursing care.
• Performs related technical work and other duties as assigned.
• May serve as in‑charge or team leader of assigned intermediate‑care patients in a ward or other patient‑care unit, or a small facility, during the evening or night shift.
• Might supervise para‑medical assistants and other unlicensed personnel.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States, as required by the State of Hawaii.
• Valid State of Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license at the time of application (an RN license does not substitute).
• Level I:
  No experience required.
• Level II:
  One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience as a licensed practical nurse, licensed vocational nurse, or registered nurse, comparable in scope and difficulty to Level I duties.
• Driver’s license may be required for certain positions; the immediate vacancy requires a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment.
• Eligible for substitution as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements (submitted separately).
