primary responsibilities

• assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care

• provide companionship and emotional support

• offer medication reminders

• assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• provide transportation to appointments and errands when needed

• monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team

• follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and well-being

qualifications

• current hawaii nurse aide (na) registration or certified nursing assistant (cna) certification required

• completion of a hawaii state-approved nurse aide or cna training program

• compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

• strong communication and interpersonal skills

• ability to work independently while following individualized care plans

• reliable transportation to client homes

• valid driver's license and ability to transport clients is a plus, but not required for all assignments
