Overview
Straub Benioff Medical Center, founded in 1921, includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout Hawaiʻi. With over 200 physicians, Straub provides diagnoses and treatments across more than 32 medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center and adopts new technologies and innovative medical practices in Hawaiʻi, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides therapeutic nursing and medical care for patients who are critically ill or are being closely monitored to prevent deterioration of their condition. The staff delivers multidisciplinary care that supports the holistic inclusion of patients, families and significant others to maximize recovery and reduce inpatient stay.

Pay Range53.17 - 70.89 USD per hour

Minimum Qualifications- Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR cards.
- One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in critical care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Two (2) years recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Intensive Care Unit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Intra Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Datascope skills.
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) - Prisma skills.
- Trained in Hemodynamic Monitoring with Swan-Ganz catheters, EVDs, post-craniotomy patients, and open heart. Neurosurgery experience.
