Pay: $58 to $60 per hour
Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Honolulu, Hawaii, 96801.

Summary A Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC) provides nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and rehabilitation centers. The focus is on maintaining residents' health, managing chronic conditions, and improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants, and other care staff.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Educate residents and family members about health conditions and care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection-control standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement and resident safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
  • CPR/BLS certification; ACLS may be preferred by some employers.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, geriatric nursing, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing is often preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
