As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro Progressive Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring for hemodynamically unstable patients.
• Coordinate complete case management, privacy and communications services.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Assist and eventually lead charge nurse duties as experience grows.

• Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
• One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR card
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
