Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Critical Care Intermediary Unit or CCIU specializes in cardiovascular patients and a variety of other Intensive Care Unit step-down patients. The department's highly trained professionals provide quality therapeutic nursing care for patients with acute or chronic problems and often work in collaboration with Straub's nationally recognized Burn Unit to ensure that critical burn patients receive the best treatment available for a fast recovery.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will join the team of accomplished clinical professionals providing exceptional health care services this role, you will help to perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for an attentive and dedicated individual, with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of clinical experience OR a successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program. Current Hawaii CNA certificate. One (1) year clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
