Work HoursRegular Full-Time (Req# )Varying 8-hour shifts, shift rotation as required. Occasional overtime may be required. 40hours per week, with specified days as scheduled.
Description of PositionWorking collaboratively with and under the general supervision of the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), with direction from the Registered Nurse (RN).Performs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care deliveredto assigned residents in accordance with established standards of nursing practice as delineated by Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc.
Qualifications and RequirementsGraduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing, or completion ofan organized course of study approved by the Board of Licensing for the Stateof Hawaii required, with current licensure in the Stateof Hawaii.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Level C required, withretraining once every two years. Experience in long-term care unit and inmeeting Ombudsman Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) requirements preferred; orany combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
