Role Overview

Provides direct and indirect outpatient nursing care under RN supervision and medical orders, including patient record review, data collection, and implementation of nursing procedures.

• Prepare and review medical records; communicate patient needs and update data.
• Administer treatments, medications, immunizations, and perform point‑of‑care testing.
• Document care, monitor patient responses, and collaborate on care plan adjustments.
• Assist in emergency situations, assign tasks to unlicensed staff, and ensure quality care delivery.
• Follow discharge plans, process referrals, and provide patient education.
• Manage immunization data, ensure vaccine inventory, and comply with guidelines.
• Train staff on vaccine storage, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in orientation, maintain supplies, and schedule patient care.

• Hawaii LPN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, communication, and teamwork.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to perform clinical procedures.

• Previous nursing or clinic experience.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
