Palolo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, part of Palolo Chinese Home, seeks a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered or licensed practical nurse. The Certified Nurse Aide will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients’ vital signs, and maintain a safe, clean environment.

$21.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and skillset.

• Completion of a state‑approved Certified Nurse Aide training program.
• Current Hawaii certification as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• 2‑step TB clearance.
• Criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screen clearance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Take and record patients’ vital signs.
• Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed.
• Ensure patients’ rooms are clean and organized.
• Follow established treatment plans to help patients reach their healthcare goals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff.

• Day shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
• Evening shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
• Overnight shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am.
• May be asked to work other times as resident care and staff training require.
