Position: Hiring: Nurse Aides & Certified Nursing Assistants!

Position: Nurse Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $21 to $24/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of paid nursing experience in acute care, long-term care, or home health care, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. CNA certification required or Nurse Aide who has completed nursing school and is in the process of taking Prometrics. If a current nursing student, completion of at least one semester of clinical fundamentals in a NA degree program.

Type: Full-time;
Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Evening 2:45pm to 11:15pm

Night 10:45pm to 7:15am

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking Nurse Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital standards and procedures.

Assist patients with mobility and safe transfers.

Support nursing staff with daily patient care activities.

Follow established hospital protocols and clinical guidelines.

Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicate patient needs and updates to the healthcare team.

Position Requirements:

Current healthcare BLS certification (American Heart Association only).

Completion of required competencies and hospital onboarding requirements.

Current TB clearance.

Influenza vaccination record or signed attestation (if applicable).

COVID vaccination record (if applicable).

Fit test clearance for clinical staff.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
