Skin & Wound Care Provider Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

• Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
• Travel to scheduled locations weekly to perform wound care. Locations may include clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and/or homes
• Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess changes to patients’ health care needs
• Perform bedside wound care skills, including wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures
• Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in AWCG's own wound care EMR
• Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and AWCG's Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership, including board-certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Hawaii
• This fast-paced position requires standing for extended periods of time
• Driving! You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• 1-2 years of wound care, and/or surgical experience, and/or emergency medicine (highly preferred, but not required); training is available
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently
• Must be trustworthy, honest, and have a positive and professional attitude
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines

Compensation Range:
Competitive Pay - DOE

Anticipated Territory:
Five clinic locations:
Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Kahuku, Molokai, and Waimea (Big Island), plus multiple locations across Oahu, HI, and optional opportunity for outer island coverage

Hours:

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm HST, no nights, weekends, or call
