Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Transport Team provides a full spectrum of health care to patients being moved by fixed wing or ground transport from a referring to an facility within the Kapi'olani network. Our health care professionals are specially trained to handle a variety of needs, including ventilation and respiratory care, and we strive to be the provider of choice for families and other members of the medical community requiring medical transport services.
If you are a compassionate, sensitive caregiver and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, you could be the ideal candidate for our Registered Nurse position. You would provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Transport Team. You would also function as an associate to a charge nurse, and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards. Three (3) years pediatric clinical experience including one (1) year in neonatal or pediatric intensive care and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Transport experience.
