Neuro Icu Nurse

Provide specialized critical care nursing for neuro ICU patients, focusing on those with neurological illnesses and post-procedural recovery. Deliver comprehensive patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neurological and overall patient status continuously.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician directives.
• Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate interventions and ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Manage medical equipment and assist with complex procedures as necessary.
• Assist in discharge planning and utilize management to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current Hawaii Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications obtained within three months of hire if not present at onboarding.
• Minimum of 12 months recent ICU RN experience, preferably in neuro or critical care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under high-stress conditions.
