Operating Room Nurse – Full Time

Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care in the operating room under the supervision of the Nursing Quality Manager, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications: Must hold a current Hawaii RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Entry-level experience is acceptable; two years of recent specialty experience is preferred. Skills include excellent communication, patient assessment, medical terminology, medication administration, and knowledge of medical equipment and protocols.

Key Responsibilities: Delivers direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, assists physicians during procedures, maintains patient records, educates patients on medications, responds to emergencies, and ensures a safe, comfortable environment. Promotes compliance with policies, standards, and safety regulations. Participates in quality improvement and professional development activities.
