About This Role

The Stf Nrs-ICU/Tele/CDU/ATC position at Kaiser Permanente involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients and families, while also directing and delegating tasks to LPNs and nursing assistive personnel. • Pay: $51 - $72/hour
• Location: Honolulu, HI
• Facility: Moanalua Medical Center
• Department/Unit: Med/Tele Unit 5 - 1201
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide nursing care and services to patients and families.
• Delegate nursing care according to legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Administer medications and perform nursing tasks requiring knowledge and judgment.
• Teach LPNs and nursing assistive personnel special tasks of nursing care.
• Verify staff competency to perform special tasks of nursing care.
• Function as primary nurse and total patient caregiver.
• Serve as resource nurse and act as preceptor.
• Perform administrative duties and accept responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain clinical expertise and competency necessary for job responsibilities.
• Incorporate KP Vision, Model, and Values throughout nursing practice.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

• One (1) year experience in area of specialty or completion of formal course in area of specialty within established timeframe.

• Current Registered Nurse License in Hawaii.
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 12 months of hire from American Heart Association.
• PICC line certification within one (1) year of hire for Ambulatory Treatment Center nurses.
