Location: East Honolulu
Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Position:Greenskeeper (Golf Course Maintenance)
Status:Full-Time (30+ hours per week)
Department:Grounds
Reports to:Golf Course Superintendent/Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:- Maintains golf course turf and bunkers.
- Levels, rakes, weeds and maintains bunker floors, faces, and edges.
- Trims sprinkler heads, tree bases, edges of ditches, boundaries, and fence lines.
- Mows curb strips and trims hedges.
- Fills irregularities in turf; and hand weeds greens.
- Applies fertilizer and pesticide to grass, plants and trees.
- Assists with golf course aeration.
- Must be able to safely operate landscaping tools, machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors, stand, and walk for extended periods of times.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Prior golf course maintenance experience preferred.
- Must be available to work from 4:30am - 12:30pm including on weekends and holidays.
