Expected Salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Quality Representative at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to Quality Manager, you will be responsible for quality control inspections and testing for your assigned discipline; concrete, piling, rebar, structural, earthwork, electrical, etc.
Responsibilities- Inspect to contract specifications the assigned discipline
- Develop understanding and working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, and other requirements to perform assigned work
- Perform inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptability of work
- Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents
- Assist in preparation and implementation of quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc.
- Assist in coordinating quality control inspection schedules with other department schedules
- Participate in internal/external quality control audits
- Assist in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
- High school diploma or GED certification
- 5 or more years of experience in support of design‑build or heavy civil construction testing, inspection, supervision or management in support of large public works projects
- 5 or more years of quality control, inspection experience in one or more of the project disciplines, including concrete, piling, rebar, structural, earthwork, electrical, etc.
- Strong understanding and experience with contract specifications as they apply to quality control and/or assurance
- Experience with Microsoft Office (preferred)
- ACI or other industry related certifications (preferred)
