Overview
This position involves managing and controlling the closing process for complex single-site and multi-site commercial real estate transactions, including preparing closing documents, settlement statements, and coordinating with title officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Manage and control the closing process for complex single-site and multi-site commercial real estate transactions.
- Prepare closing documents and settlement statements.
- Read and carefully review complicated instructions and agreements related to closings.
- Prioritize tasks and make independent decisions.
- Coordinate with title officers and underwriting to solve issues.
- Open escrows and collect required instructions, documents, and funds for closing.
- Manage workflow and provide customer support to counsel, buyers, sellers, borrowers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers and lenders.
- Communicate effectively with customers and build relationships.
- Adhere to company policy and procedures.
- Gather and confirm the accuracy of closing documents.
- Collect all documents necessary to clear title.
- Remain neutral at all times.
- 3 years of escrow experience preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with title and escrow duties.
- Experience with practices, procedures, and concepts within the title insurance industry.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and make decisions.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and information distribution skills.
- Attention to detail and task-driven professionalism.
- Ability to spot and address irregularities or issues.
- Detail-oriented and professional.
- Ability to handle confidential information and documents.
- Excellent math and/or accounting skills.
- Willingness to help train new employees.
- Provide timely customer support.
Full-time
Pay$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
