We are seeking a dedicated and creative Prep Barback to join our vibrantbar team, where we elevate the craft cocktail experience with house-madesyrups, coconut cream, and freshly juiced fruits. This role is perfect for someone with a strong bar or kitchen prep background, a passion for cocktailculture, and a knack for organization and creativity. As a Prep Barback, you’llplay a critical role in ensuring our bar runs smoothly by preparingingredients, batching beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting ourbartenders during service.

Responsibilities:
- Ingredient Preparation:
Craft house-made syrups,coconut cream, and fresh fruit juices daily, ensuring consistency and quality for our cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage program. - Batching Beverages:
Accurately batch cocktails andN/A beverages according to precise recipes, maintaining flavor profiles and presentation standards. - Requisition Fulfillment:
Fill requisitions for barsupplies, including garnishes, mixers, and other essentials, to keep thebar fully stocked and prepared for service. - Cleaning and Maintenance:
Maintain a spotless and organized prep area, including cleaning surfaces, tools, juicers, and prepequipment before, during, and after shifts. Ensure compliance with healthand safety regulations. - Prep Area Organization:
Keep the prep station tidy and efficient, organizing ingredients, tools, and storage areas to streamlineworkflow. - Inventory Assistance:
Help monitor inventory levelsof prep ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages or needs to management to maintain operational flow. - Creative Contribution:
Stay updated on currentcocktail trends and contribute innovative ideas for new syrups, garnishes,or beverage concepts to enhance our menu. - Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the bar teamto execute prep tasks, support service needs, and maintain a positive,collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years in a bar orkitchen environment with hands-on experience in cocktail preparation,ingredient prep, or barback duties. Experience in a high-volume kitchen orcraft cocktail bar is a plus. - Cocktail Knowledge:
Understanding of cocktailtechniques, ingredients, and current trends, with a genuine passion forcocktail culture. - Creativity:
Ability to think creatively and propose new ideas for house-made ingredients or beverage innovations. - Work Ethic:
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to handle prep, batching, and cleaning tasks efficiently. - Team Player:
Takes direction well,communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting. - Physical Stamina:
Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks likejuicing or cleaning. - Availability:
Full-time availability,including some nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the bar’soperating hours. - Sanitation Knowledge:
Familiarity with health andsafety standards for food and beverage prep, with a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
