Job SummaryThe Food Service Clerk will perform and coordinate the various administrative requirements of the food service department at Palolo Chinese Home. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour - based on experience and skillset Benefits We Offer- Medical Insurance (inclusive of drug and vision coverage)

- High School diploma or general education equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food Service Industry
- Valid driver's license and clear drivers abstract
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and purchasing management
- Proficiency in proper food handling techniques and sanitation
- Ability to work with kitchen production equipment
- Understanding of kitchen safety practices
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and push/pull at least 75 lbs.
- Proficient in English language for effective communication
- Basic understanding of LTC clinical nutrition
- Proficiency in using computer software like Excel, Word, and Email
- Demonstrated high standards of customer service
- Prepare daily meal tray tickets and production sheets
- Identify and resolve meal issues promptly
- Input resident information and food preferences accurately
- Submit supply orders to vendors weekly
- Compile data for administrative reports
- Assist with inventory management and rotation
- Answer department inquiries and assist with meal deliveries
- Support departmental activities as needed
