Operations Lead

Position Summary

The Kith Operations Lead is the right hand to the Operations Manager. Supervises merchandise handling process, provides training for the daily activities of all stock associates in partnership with the Operations Manager, maintains an organized stockroom, oversees replenishment process, manages shipping and receiving of in‑store merchandise, and is the point person for back‑of‑house matters when the Operations Manager is unavailable.

Compensation: $23.00/hr + Commission(s)

• Ensures execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures.
• Ensures adept product is neatly organized and placed in the stock room.
• Performs audit and transfer of damaged and defective merchandise, completes re‑tickets, and processes phone orders.
• Tracks productivity and ensures that the team meets the standards and efficiency set by upper management.
• Ensures all delivery information is recorded and accurately reported.
• Communicates daily goals and priorities to support associates, redirects activities as necessary to achieve results.
• Manages shipment supplies and fixtures and communicates needs to the leadership team.
• Ensures the stockroom is neat, clean, and organized.
• Influences employees to support an operationally efficient and effective process‑driven environment.
• Assists store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, trash collection, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.

• Participates and assists in physical inventories as required by the business.
• Assists merchandising team during visual initiatives, as needed.

• Open and flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’s needs require.

• 6+ months in a customer‑facing role.
• 1+ year in a retail environment.
• 1+ year in an apparel operations role.

• Thorough communication with customers, peers, and direct reports.
• Efficient time‑management skills.
• Effective multi‑tasker.
• Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects at once.
• Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
• Ability to perform standard tasks related to retail operations, including bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
