Sales Clerk Leader - Uniforms – Salary: $21.21 per hour

Join our team as a Sales Clerk Leader serving the brave men and women of the military and their families. In this role, you lead a team to provide outstanding customer service, assist with product selection, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and help with merchandise selection.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist patrons in selecting goods.
• Oversee overall operations of the sales department, including ordering merchandise, pricing, and monitoring stock levels.
• Coordinate with store management on price changes, markdowns, promotional sets, and signage.
• Communicate with HQ staff to resolve special order requests and merchandise issues.
• Assist store management in training employees on cash register and front‑end duties and provide input on employee evaluations.
• Operate cash register, accept cash, checks, credit cards, issue change, prepare receipts, and reconcile register tapes with Daily Activity Report.
• Maintain cash overage and shortage records and ensure control and security of change fund, safe, and cash registers.
• Serve as key carrier in opening and closing the store.
• Lead and supervise other employees when management is absent.
• Follow all policies regarding loss prevention, being proactive about shrink and alert line.
• Follow all established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Work weekends as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum:

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred:

• Experience operating a cash register and working knowledge of sales inventory.
• Previous retail supervisory experience performing the duties above.
• Current USCG NAF sales clerk with at least 6 months experience as a USCG NAF sales clerk.

• Residency Requirements:
