Join one of our HELE convenience stores as a Customer Service Associate / Convenience Store Cashier. You will deliver prompt, courteous service, manage sales and cash handling, maintain store cleanliness, and support operations in a fast‑paced environment. This position offers a foundation for a career path within the retail organization.

• Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service; may assist customers at the gas pump.
• Accurately ring up all sales on the POS system and comply with all cash handling procedures, including handling of coupons, credit cards, and other tender types.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and other forms of tender.
• Follow all company policies, store procedures, safety and environmental regulations.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and conduct shift audits.
• Participate in all safety programs and trainings; attend mandatory job‑related meetings and trainings as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties to keep the store and equipment clean and safe.
• Identify equipment problems and report as required.
• Work independently; be flexible with hours and able to attend additional meetings and duties as needed.

• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Maintain 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable).
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Follow safety procedures; respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Reach overhead, grip, and use wrist and finger movements to restock, package, and operate equipment.
• Squat and kneel frequently to restock items.
• Push or pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds using a hand‑truck.
• Lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist or overhead; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb a stepladder for stocking or maintenance tasks.

Basic qualifications:

Minimum 21 years of age and legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred.
• Proficient basic math skills.
• Oral and written communication in English, including telephone skills.
• Availability for various shifts; punctual arrival.
• Comfortable working with equipment, tools, and materials as required.
• Capability to perform essential duties in described conditions.
